San Francisco, here we come.

This year we are going to the ATLA convention in San Francisco in July. We’ll be there for the educational program for five days. The agenda looks very strong, with a heavy emphasis on jury bias, voir dire, car design defects and representing the consumer. These are all issues where big corporate America is lobbying Congress and the state legislatures to take away your rights in court, when you or a family member has been wronged.

It is a myth that trial lawyers are sending jobs to other countries. It is a myth that caps on damages reduce insurance premiums. It is a myth that it is in our national interest to take away civil rights.
