Alternative Dispute Resolution
One of the advantages of having had an active trial practice throughout my career is that I have seen and experienced the cost and stress of individual and corporate litigation. Within the last several years, there has been an increased emphasis on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services. ADR encompasses different methods to resolve disputes without going to trial.
These alternatives to trial include mediation, arbitration and early neutral evaluation of cases. I have been honored to serve over the last number of years as a neutral arbitrator and mediator and receive requests to perform these services for satisfied clients from previous cases. I have all of the necessary training and certificates to perform these services for you and your clients, I am the past President of Creative Dispute Resolution, but more importantly, I am not in this business full-time as a career.
I am not dependent upon any particular insurance company, lawyer, client, company or special interest for work in ADR. I like doing it on occasion because it helps me be a better advocate and I have learned the discipline of being neutral as a necessary element of facilitating dispute resolution. I think I am pretty good at getting the job done and have references to prove it.
