Vioxx
*Update 11/10/07: Merck has announced that it has agreed to settle as many as 47,000 cases related to Vioxx.
The dangerous anti-inflammatory drug Vioxx (generic name Rofecoxib) was withdrawn from the US market on September 30, 2004 by Merck and Co. Along with my partners at False-Claims-Act.com, I have successfully taken on large corporate interests such as the ones involved here.
If you or a family member have suffered cardiovascular problems, heart attack, or stroke after taking Vioxx, contact me to discuss whether you may be entitled to compensation.
It now appears that Merck will be stepping up to the plate and has agreed to pay 4.85 billion dollars to settle the stroke and heart attack cases. We continue to represent those injured by defective drugs and products.
